Mark is the principal and one of the original founders of BRUNS-PAK. BRUNS-PAK’s 37 year/5500+ project experiences in design/building high technology data center projects serve as the basis for the evolution of the ultra-reliable facility. Mr. Evanko continues to actively participate as a BRUNS-PAK project director integrating facilities with information systems in developing technically proficient solutions for the client.

Over the years, Mark has chaired BRUNS-PAK’s business partner affiliations with major computer manufacturers and other major Fortune 500 service providers including: Dell, Accenture, IBM, OnX, The Gartner Group, Mainline, Bechtel Verizon Business, Data Span, Mark Levin & Partners, Deloitte (Collaborations), Carter Validus, Vicom, SGI, Sine Nomine, SBC Consulting, and Cloudify. The business relationships have been founded on providing a technically proficient, ethical, and cost effective consulting service that avails the client to alternative “state of the art” solutions.

Mark’s personal background includes a Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University in Engineering, a Masters in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and he attended The University of Toledo College of Law.  He graduated from Amerada Hess’ Corporate Management Engineering Program as well.

Professional Experience:

Mr. Tiner has over 37 years of experience in planning and construction of facilities and improvements in a wide range of commercial and industrial projects and the last 30 years specializing in data center development. Mr. Tiner has extensive experience in retrofitting, renovating, and upgrading existing operational facilities while maintaining operational functions as well as developing new state of the art data center “greenfield” facilities. Current assignments include coordination and development of owner requirements from concept through construction completion. Mr. Tiner’s detailed knowledge of all trades provides valuable input during design development to ensure all field conditions are properly addressed.

Mr. Tiner’s experience includes supervision of architects and all engineering disciplines as well as a state-of-the-art REVIT and CADD design/drafting groups. Mr. Tiner’s in depth understanding of construction techniques enhances his ability to guide the design team to solutions that are constructable and cost effective. Similarly his knowledge of the technical characteristics and alternatives for high tech/highly reliable infrastructures allows him to translate the uptime requirements of the end user into the language of both manufacturers and trades. His skills allow for timely resolution of field conditions and the corresponding impact to work in progress before a crisis develops.

Mr. Tiner’s previous position as Manager of Plant Engineering for Roche Biomedical Laboratories (a subsidiary of Hoffmann-La Roche) further enhances his unique experience in the construction of technical facilities. In that capacity, Mr. Tiner was responsible for the maintenance operations and capital improvement program for the northeast region. The firm’s facilities encompassed technical laboratories, clean rooms, data processing and telecomm rooms and support offices.
