Sr. Mechanical Engineer (PE)

The ideal candidate has and the position requires experience designing the mechanical systems of Data Center Facilities. The position requires experience with the design of chilled water plants, Dx systems, all HVAC, chillers, pumps, CRAC Units, Diesel Fuel Systems, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Controls and other Mission Critical mechanical equipment requiring design skills incorporating reliability and redundancy in design. The Mechanical Engineer applies diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to broad variety of assignments and related fields. This person reports to the Department Manager. This person can make many decisions independently regarding engineering methods. The position requires use of advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices in individual’s field. Supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters. The Mechanical Engineer consults with supervisor concerning problems and developments. The Senior Mechanical Engineer should be able to develop test procedures and support the commissioning of mechanical equipment. A minimum of 7-10 years of mechanical engineering experience is appropriate. Ability to design in CADD is expected and design ability in Revit is a plus, but preferred. Senior Commissioning Engineer

The ideal candidate has, and the position requires, experience in the commissioning of Data Center Facilities. The position requires experience commissioning “Mission Critical” / Data Center equipment (i.e. Generators, UPS systems, Switchgear, Pumps, Chillers, CRAC units) and the integrated systems associated with the power and cooling plants as a critical component of the job. The Senior Commissioning Engineer is responsible to develop and execute the project related deliverables. Responsibilities will include the preparing of “test” scripts and reviewing commissioning reports, preparing commissioning schedules, overseeing trade/equipment suppliers and installers associated with performing/observing and documenting commissioning activities. The candidate will develop reports and ensure consistency and clarity within technical reports. Willingness to travel extensively for long periods is a must. Benefits typically include a cell phone and use of a company vehicle. A technical/engineering degree is preferred with a minimum of 7-10 years of construction and commissioning experience.
